WEEKLY COMPETITIONS - Stadium Rules

Westgate Beach Volleyball is committed to delivering a weekly competition that allows for fun and social games to take place. 
In order to for this to happen the following stadium rules are in place.

Fees

  •  Game fees are to be paid each week, prior to the start of each game. 
  • A full game fee is required each week, even if a team has a fill in playing. This must be covered by the team in which have the scheduled game. 
  • Long term fill ins, fees can be discussed with management ( *4 plus weeks*)
  • Failure to pay fees will result in being removed from competition.

Forfeits

  • Teams must provide 48 hours notice to avoid a forfeit fee ( equal to full match fee) 
  • Teams who give more than 48 hours notice will have fee waived.
  • Forfeit fees are equal to full game fee, these must be paid in addition to the next weeks game fee. 
  • Contacting the center to arrange a fill in, is an easy way to avoid a forfeit fee. The original game fee must still be paid in full. 
  • Teams who forfeit with 24 hours will also have a loss on foreit for the game resulting in -4 points.

Suspension

  • MINIMUM PENALTY

    Abusive language:               1 Week

    Playing intoxicated:             1 Week

    Equipment abuse:               1 Week & Fine

    Fighting:                                Indefinite Ban

    Facility Abuse:                     1 Week & Fine

    General misbehaviour       1 Week

    Threatening an umpire:     2 Year Ban

    Assault:                                 Life Ban & Legal Action
